A lazy start to Sundays with Home by McGettigan’s

If you’re looking for a true taste of home, then it’s in the name with Home by McGettigan’s who serve up a fab Sunday Family Brunch with live music, a kid’s corner and kid’s games. The three-course late breakfast and lazy lunch consists of a brekkie dish or an appetiser followed by a main course which includes Lamb Chops and Rib Eye of Beef and finally a dessert if you have the room!

Every Sunday, head to voco® by Bonnington where International restaurant The Cavendish is pulling out all the stops to serve up a hearty roast dinner. The traditional Sunday Roast is served with all the trimmings, and you can pick from a succulent selection of delicious meats. There’s loads of fun for all the whole family with tons of activities for the kids in the outdoor area.

Roast and brunch at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC

As expats, we’ve embraced the Dubai ‘brunch’, so we’re delighted that the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre has fused brunch and roast dinner to offer the perfect finale to any weekend. For us adults think delicious food with a proper taste of home, wonderful service and live acoustic entertainment. For the kids there’s slime making, arts and crafts, princess visits, Magic Phil, and even an appearance by the Queen’s Beefeaters.

The London Project launches Sunday Roast Dinner

The London Project, perfectly situated below Ain Dubai on Bluewaters, have just launched their Sunday Roast Dinner including their signature Wagyu Sausage Roll, Greek Olive Fed Chicken, British Lamb Shank, Celeriac Steak and The Master Roast Dinner (if you’re feeling hungry) which combines a plate of all three meats. All roast dinners are served with duck fat roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire Puddings, roasted vegetables and mouth-watering cauliflower cheese. Yum!

When we say a British roast, we’re of course also including the amazing delicacies from the Emerald Isle! The Nine, a quintessentially British Sunday Roast

A British neighbourhood restaurant, The Nine at Sofitel The Obelisk, is known for their quintessentially British Sunday Roast. No weekend is complete without the mouth-watering taste of succulent roast meat, served with vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese croquettes and crispy roast potatoes.
