Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but for us mums, that usually involves the leftover crusts of the kids’ toasts or a quick banana as we run out the door. If you’re wanting to properly enjoy breakfast, then we’ve tried and tested some of the best breakfast hotspots in Dubai to make your decision as easy as possible! We’ve even added in our favourite part of our breakfast trip, an average price for a family of 4 and where these eateries are located as well as how to book!

AMAZONE

Located centrally within Motor City, Amazone is an undiscovered breakfast gem. There are a few different offers available for families including kids eat free when parents spend just AED 50. Açai runs thought out the menu, in line with the theme of the café, which we love as it ensures the kids are eating healthy. The açai waffles and ice cream went down exceptionally well and we also loved the fruit-rich smoothies. They also do delivery which is great for those lazy weekends when you want breakfast to come to you!

Our fave bit: We love the use of Brazilian Acai throughout the menu, which contains antioxidants and is rich in vitamins and minerals that will boost your immunity.

CARLUCCIOS

While not an obvious choice for breakfast, Carluccios at the Dubai Marina Mall exceeded our expectations with a newly launched, comprehensive and varied menu. The portion sizes are more than generous, and the food is absolutely delicious. We felt instantly welcomed upon arrival by the friendly staff, and we loved our table on the expansive outdoor patio. It felt so peaceful next to the water, with the occasional ‘zip liner’ flying past us along the marina. Would we go back again? Absolutely and we’re taking everyone with us!

We loved the quaint décor, the views were phenomenal and the outside spot is fab if you’re meeting friends as there’s loads of space and it’s completely shaded too! There’s pork on this menu with a dedicated Fry Up section (big tick for hubby) and our kids loved the Little Porky Breakfast which was a very reasonable AED 30! REFORM

Reform Social and Grill is the perfect spot for lazy family breakfast on the weekend, reminding us of British pub gardens, both in atmosphere and character. Reform is a real winner for the whole family – kids play area, dog friendly with lots of shade, individual dogs bowls of water provided too! The portions were of a good size and the kid’s menu was AED 49 that included a juice and baby chino. Pork was on menu and we were not disappointed with the quality, the English brekkie is superb!
