Are you an arty family? Or does one of your children have an artistic flare? Then we should tell you about Camden Creative Arts. They offer individual and small group art tuition, workshops for adults and children, and events including parties. And not only that, but British mums and their families get 10% off all classes, workshops and parties, just quote British Mums when booking.

Founder, Kay Bathke is a committed artist and art educator who has 20 years of experience in both education and creation. She has worked in schools and art collectives in both London and Dubai and holds a BA in Illustration, PGCE in Art and Design, and MA in Design for Stage so she’s super qualified.

Camden Creative Arts offer Saturday Morning Art Workshops for children on a termly basis. Your kids will receive an art pack on the first day, including a T-shirt and art goodies. Over the term, they will follow an art programme that includes drawing skills, painting, mixed media, and sculpture. It’s AED 1,400 for the term (which is 15 hours tuition) and takes place on Saturdays from 10am to 11.30am. There are two groups: one for 5  8-year-olds and another for 9  12-year-olds.

Or for a bit of ‘Me Time’, how about going to their Art Cafe for a painting breakfast on Monday mornings for adults. It’s AED 225 for a weekly painting session and breakfast, where you can brush up on your painting skills and create beautiful artworks. The price includes breakfast, hot or cold drinks, all materials, and full tuition and guidance. Each painting session has a different artist’s focus and technique, and starts on Monday 9th January, with the full schedule available on the website. We can’t think of a better way to focus the mind at the start of your week.

For more information, you can head to their website, email or call 055 351 7776. Don’t forget to quote British Mums for 10% off!
