Making its debut in the region, the new product range aims to reduce its annual carbon footprint by 20% by the year 2020 whilst  continuing to minimise waste in the region with its environmental-friendly formula and ingredients.

According to research by TechSci, the MEA market for natural and organic cosmetics could grow annually by 12-15% over the next five years, placing the retail value at $4 billion by 2020. Unilever’s new retail brand will contribute towards revolutionising consumer behaviour to meet the rising demand of consumers seeking to convert to environmentally responsible products.

Love, Beauty and Planet features hair, oral, skin cleansing and skincare products, with sustainably sourced ingredients, fast-rinse solutions that save water, vegan friendly formulations and bottles that are 100% recycled and recyclable.

In addition, the new product comprises of infused formulas with several natural ingredients including lavender, ylangylang, coconut water, argan oil, shea butter and tea tree oil, all which are vetted and independently certified by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), for cruelty-free and vegan causes.
