ABOUT ME

Where to start… I’m a Mum of 3 boys… It seems crazy to say that out loud… I only ever wanted 2 kids and I’m already considering a 4th… I would absolutely love a little girl one day 😅. 

We moved to Dubai three years ago not knowing anyone with just one child and three suitcases… 3 years later and here we are, two more kids, a house that feels like home, 2 businesses and a lovely group of friends. I love sharing our everyday perfect chaos along with honest reviews/recommendations and little hacks… anything to make life/parenting easier is a yes from me! 

WHERE IS HOME?

Home was Buckinghamshire, England. I was born and raised there and whilst I moved away for Uni and work, Bucks was always home. But now home really feels like Dubai. If I could bring my family here to Dubai I don’t think I’d ever need to go back.. well maybe for the odd shopping haul.

An adult… really regretting that now 😅

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I come from a legal background but after having Mason I never went back, the corporate life just isn’t for me. My priorities had changed and I wanted to do something where I could be with the kids and work around them. Alongside my own blog I also manage several social accounts for businesses in the UK & UAE. I really enjoy everything about it, from content creation, scheduling, interacting with people, hosting events and much more. It’s so versatile and every day is different. And the best bit is that most of it is working from my phone/macbook which I can do from anywhere, anytime.


WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ACTIVITY TO DO WITH YOUR CHILDREN?

During the summer it’s places like Oli Oli. But we are all about the winter… Beach and pool days, walks, parks, BBQ’s, parties… anything outdoors basically and we’re there!

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR WEEKENDS?

It very much varies between taxiing the kids about with all the birthday parties and playdates, chilled house/garden days, lunches and brunches and the occasional staycay!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE?

I love Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit. I read all the books when I was in school and just love them! I’m also a sucker for an easy to watch romcom… Hitch, Mean Girls and I Feel Pretty are my go to’s for this! Movies I love watching with Jon are a bit grittier… we love British gangster movies like The Gentlemen… it’s got a bit of humour added in too so it’s not all shootouts and drive bys.

IF YOU COULD EAT ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I’m Indian so it would be rude not to have a curry wouldn’t it… Lamb curry, rice and chapatis… but only the way me and my Mum make it. Aside from that I would say fish and chips… but proper fish and chips… I’m yet to find the perfect one in Dubai. 

WHO’S YOUR CELEBRITY CRUSH?

There’s a few… 😅 Top three would be, David Beckham, Ryan Reynolds, Rege-Jean. All for very obvious reasons. 

WHICH DESTINATION IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST TO VISIT?

Maldives! I know it’s super close to Dubai but we’re yet to get there. I keep saying when the kids are a bit older but I keep having babies so who knows! 😅

WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?

Any trash TV. You name it, I’m there. Married at First Sight, Love Island, Geordie Shore… all of it… with all the popcorn and chocolate!!

 

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

A teleportation power… past/present/future. So I could tell the 20 year old me not to cry over that guy and that being a size 6 is not fat and that I most definitely don’t know the meaning of being tired yet! Would also be handy to pop and see family as and when, and travel the world in an instant!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT LIVING IN DUBAI?

Everything, literally everything. The lifestyle, the opportunities, the skyline, the beaches, the people, the ladies nights, the brunches, the schools, the malls… the list goes on. It’s why we’re here!!
