ABOUT ME

I’m a mummy to two gorgeous but very cheeky children and a very cute but energetic puppy named Monty. I’ve been living in Dubai for around 9 years. My husband and I met here in Barasti whilst I was on holiday with my friends 11 years ago. After 2 years we made the decision for me to move here. Dubai is a great place to live. I have recently trained as a Social Media Manager specialising in Facebook Ads as I found it difficult to get back into work after taking 4 years off to have my family.

WHERE IS HOME?

Surrey, England.

WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER?

A vet. I love animals.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

Sales and Partnership Manager at British Mums.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE ACTIVITY TO DO WITH YOUR CHILDREN?

Dance around the living room.

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR WEEKENDS?

My husband works a western week so Friday is usually all about the children; we play at home or have a play date. Saturday is family day and Sunday is usually breakfast out followed by a beach day.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE?

My Best Friends Wedding. I love the scene where they sing Dionne Warwicks “I say a little pray” It’s mine and my sisters song.

IF YOU COULD EAT ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Tapas! I love Spanish food.

WHO’S YOUR CELEBRITY CRUSH?

It was Paul Walker.

WHICH DESTINATION IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST TO VISIT?

The Cherry Blossoms in Japan and Santa’s Grotto in Lapland.

WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?

Eating Canadian Cheddar with Salt and Vinegar crisps.

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

That’s a tough one I’d love to be able to fly but also to be invisible. Watching my Little ones at school without them seeing me would be amazing.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT LIVING IN DUBAI?

There are many good things about living in Dubai. Everyone is so friendly because we are all in the same boat, there are so many amazing things to do and so many new things opening on a regular basis it’s hard to get bored but for me the biggest factor is the safety aspect here. I never feel unsafe or scared of people like you do sometimes in other cities.
