The Learning Support department in the junior school is seeking to fill the the following posts as soon as possible:

1) A part-time, experienced Learning Support Teacher. Some flexibility with hours is possible.

2) A full-time Learning Support Assistant. Some experience in supporting students with special needs would be advantageous but not essential.

The Strand have created a delicious menu for us at only AED 70 per person which includes a hot drink and a choice of yummy breakfast. Pick from the Classic Avo Toast, Eggs Benedict, a Yoghurt Bowl, an Acai Bowl or Brioche Fresh Toast. The Strand also has plenty of parking just outside, which is free for the 3 hours and AED 10 per hour after that. Don’t forget to validate your parking before you leave the restaurant.

Whether you’re a total dance floor queen or just curious to try something new, this month’s workout is designed to get your body moving and your endorphins soaring. There’s three sessions that run for 30 minutes each, and you can join one, two, or all three – it’s totally up to you! Here’s what’s in store:

Commercial Dance

Kick things off with a high-energy dance class that mixes hip-hop, jazz, and street styles. It’s upbeat, full of confidence-boosting moves, and totally beginner-friendly. Think fun routines, big smiles, and feel-good vibes – no experience needed!

Lyrical Dance

Then, it’s time to slow things down with a Lyrical session which blends contemporary and ballet-inspired movement for a graceful, expressive flow. It’s a beautiful way to stretch, strengthen, and connect with yourself.

My Private Gym

Finish strong in the gym with a 30-minute group workout led by a personal trainer. Expect functional exercises and circuits tailored to all levels – designed to leave you feeling powerful and recharged.
