As we head back to school after the half-term break, we know some kids will be looking to continue their development outside of the classroom – through sports, dance, martial arts or music. With limited options in the current situation, we’ve rounded up some fantastic activities that we are sure the kids will LOVE!
We’ve ensured they’re all following safety and hygiene protocols as well as observing social distancing, so you can rest assured your child can try out new skills or develop their existing ones in a safe and controlled environment.
The world’s a stage at DPA
We’re huge fans of Lisa Scott-Lee and her amazing team at Dubai Performing Arts. Our budding performers are obsessed with the fab Musical Theatre classes but there’s a full schedule to cater to all ages, abilities and passions. From ballet, modern, tap and street dance to music theatre, drama, Acro and singing lessons, running 6 days a week, the choice is yours! DPA is the perfect platform for kids who were born for the stage but the highly experienced team are equally as good at developing self-confidence in their students.

Somersault into the new term with Absolute Gymnastics

Free week of activities at D.R.C.A
We’re delighted to be working with the team at D.R.C.A (Dubai Recreational Community Activities) who is introducing the first ‘youth club’ type programme here in Dubai, targeted at after school care for 7-11 year olds. Given the current restrictions in terms of after-school clubs, this could be an option for many working parents or children who are looking to burn off a little more energy!

Growing Hockey in the UAE with the Field Hockey Academy

With 4 age groups including U7, U9, U10 -U13 and U13s – U16s, Field Hockey Academy continues to develop the hockey game within the UAE sporting scene.
