Now’s the time to ditch the shopping, vegetable chopping and especially dishwasher stacking, because Jumeirah Restaurant Week is back – and that means we’ve got the perfect excuse to have some amazing meals out (all at a fraction of the regular price!)

Dubai’s old-timers know that this is THE week of the year when you can have a really good old fashioned, guilt-free splurge, for this is a week crammed full of fancy feasts where prices are kept simple. A 3 course meal or buffet display at some of Dubai’s finest restaurants cost just AED 150, AED 250 or AED 350 per adult depending on whether you’re choosing something casual for the family or fine dining like the Burj Al Arab, with children being able to order from the Kids Menus too.

This offer is always good… In fact, REALLY good – and if you haven’t been to a restaurant in a while that makes you think “Oh, that’s delicious!”, or “Oh, that’s new!” then rest assured, that Jumeirah not only have the views, the service and the food, but they always know how to add the “Oh!” factor back in too.

Their chefs will be going all out to create menus for Dubai’s savvy diners that showcase their restaurants signature dishes. In fact, a whopping 40 of Jumeirah’s restaurants taking part in Jumeirah Restaurant Week so whether you choose a smokey steak or savoury burger (with gooey s’mores for pud – yum!), or if you fancy the colourful spices of Asia, local flavours of Arabia, hot chillis of Mexico or you simply fancy sticking to some British favourites, then the toughest part about this week is going to be choosing where you’ll go!

To help you out, we’ve compiled the list below that’s divided into the three price categories, but don’t forget, you can even cool it all down with some frosty Margaritas at some of the best bars in Dubai too…

AED 150 per adult for 3 courses

Jumeirah Beach Hotel is jam packed with choices with all the Italian flair you’d expect at Carnevale, the best triple cooked chips at British gastro-pub D&A, German staples at Der Keller, more Italian delights at La Veranda, the popular indoor and outdoor buffet at Latitude, contemporary and classic Indian at Naya, light Mediterranean cuisine and a BEAUTIFUL beach side spot at Villa Beach and  one of Dubai’s  best bars participating – the fab 360!

At the picture perfect Madinat Jumeirah, there’s a really good buffet at Arboretum too where you’ll find a wide range of International dishes. The Spanish fare and tapas are not to be missed at Al Hambra and for a taste of Arabia right on the beach, try the buffet at Hanaaya or Khaymat Al Bahar and for a more causal affair, there are steaks and burgers galore at Perry & Blackwelder’s Original SmokehouseShimmers on the Beach serves up some of the best Greek dishes in town hands down, and you’ll always have a brilliant night out with the girls at The Agency.

The Palmery is a great place for a casual International buffet with the family at Jumeirah Al Naseem or you can experience the colourful fajitas of Tortuga. Italian’s on offer at Trattoria Toscana and Segreto Restaurant and Bar and don’t forget to pay a visit to Zheng He’s who will be serving up their amazing wok fried Tiger prawns!

Over at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray if you like Indian flavours, then you’ll love the authenticity of Amala, or for a taste of Turkey, Lalezar is a gem of a place serving vegetarian and vegan friendly as well as gluten free food.

Over at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, firm family favourite Nomad includes complimentary beverages and has some brilliant outdoor space for little ones to run around. Alta Badia offers great Italian too and you’ll find dishes from all corners of the Earth at the and the buffet at Mundo buffet in Emirates Towers.

250 AED per person for 3 Courses

If you want to notch it up a peg or two over at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, you’ll discover fabulous pizzas and family faves at Scape Restaurant and Al Iwan buffet serves up an amazing local and International dishes in its truly opulent surroundings.

But now it gets trickier, as on top of that list, you can also choose to head on to the Madinat Jumeirah where the trendy The Hide and Rockfish showcase what’s on offer at Jumeirah Al Naseem or take a gondola to your meal at the legendary Pai Thai overlooking the waters edge.

If it’s steak that you fancy, then it’s going to be a close call between the Latin flavours of Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s La Parrilla and the mouthwatering meats at The Rib Room that can be found in both the Jumeirah Al Saray as well as The Rib Room in Emirates Towers.

However, if it’s the ultimate in fine dining that you’re seeking with a hint of romance, then you might as well thank your lucky stars – as date night doesn’t get better than British super chef Nathan Outlaw at Al Mahara and the fabulous Al Muntaha at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, not forgetting Dubai’s most iconic romantic restaurant Pierchic along the jetty of the Madinat Jumeirah.

For something entirely different all together, you can even treat yourself to the Summersalt Beach Pass (which includes AED 150 food & beverage credit by the way), and at this price, your fun in the sun simply can’t go wrong.
