I was born and raised in Essex and London and moved to Dubai almost 7 years ago after meeting my now-husband!  He was back for a holiday in the UK after living in Dubai for years and managed to whisk me away! My favourite things are watching my little one grow into a beautiful little lady, spending quality time as a family with some good food and wine, then trying to balance it all out with the gym, running and yoga!

Where’s home?

Originally from Essex (and proud!), I’ve lived in London and South East for most of my life until moving to Dubai 7 years ago.  The hubby is Northern though, so if we ever move back to the UK, I think somewhere near Manchester would be ‘home’ for us.  Dubai for now is definitely our home for the long term we hope!

What did you want to be when you were younger?

For a long time, I wanted to be an actress but when my parents put me in drama school for a summer it became very clear early on that I couldn’t sing, dance or act, so that career dream changed pretty quickly!

What is your favourite activity to do with your children?

We love listening to Spotify and singing all the Disney film songs on the way to school and after school clubs!  Also love evening time when we read stories together and get some proper time together for cuddles!

How do you spend your weekends?

When it’s not too hot, I love to get outside early for a run, then spend some quality time together as a family and keeping our daughter entertained!  We spend a lot of time by the pool and eating out – our Privilee membership has been fantastic allowing us to try out lots of the fab hotels in the UAE!  I do love a brunch even if they are a bit of a rarity these days.

What’s your favourite movie?

Current favourites are Encanto, the Sing films and Back to The Outback, but Cocktail is an old classic 80’s film I love!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?

Sushi, Dim Sum or some super doughy bread with vintage cheese!

Who is your celebrity crush?

Since watching Bates Hotel on Netflix it has to be Max Thieriot – plus he owns a vineyard which is a dream combination for me!

Where is on your bucket list to visit?

Iceland is definitely up there – scenery looks incredible!  Also would love to visit Japan and South America.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

I love 80’s music and cheesy power ballads – think Jennifer Rush ‘Power of Love’ on repeat!

If you could have a superpower what would it be?

Speaking every language – would love to be able to understand and speak every language in the world fluently!

What’s your favourite thing about living in Dubai?

I love how safe and family orientated Dubai is.  It’s such a great place to bring up a family and obviously the weather is fantastic most of the year so living in flip flops and sunglasses year-round is a dream.
