It’s nearly the Easter break and this last half-term has flown by!  With two weeks off and the weather heating up, you may be wondering just how many times you can head to the pool. We’ve put together a fab list of camps running this Spring break, so the kids can learn new skills, develop an existing hobby and make some new friends. Plus, don’t us mums deserve the odd day off as well?!  We’ve spoken to all partners who are adhering to strict Covid measures including social distancing and sanitisation efforts to ensure your children are in the safest of hands.

Canon Juniors Academy

Are you ready to become the next Canon storyteller?  This easter break, Canon Juniors Academy is running a camp for all the young storytellers around Dubai. Each student will be armed with their very own Canon 4000D camera, a portfolio to put all their work in and a creative mind to take the best possible photos. Join the team as they explore storytelling and take young budding photographers through the fundamentals of photography including shutter speed, aperture, ISO and much more. Life’s a stage at DPA

If your kids dream of life on the stage, then this is a fab opportunity to get them involved with one of the top performing arts schools in the region.  Join Lisa Scott-Lee and her fab team of coaches at DPA, as this Easter they explore Wonderland with Alice and the Mad Hatter in Week 1 before turning to all things chocolatey in week 2 with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Explore and Invent at woo-hoo!

woo-hoo!’s half term camp has been exclusively designed by keeping their learning objectives in mind – move, connect, explore, examine, imagine. Your little ones will be provided opportunities to explore different styles of art through hands-on and verbal learning at the state-of-the-art children’s museum in Al Quoz.  In week 1, the children become explorers, participating in different challenges and activities that will build their communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. In week 2, the children become inventors with opportunities to collaborate and explore STEAM concepts through fun, hands-on challenges designed to build confidence, teamwork, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

Spring Holiday Gymnastics!

Spring camp at thejamjar

Thejamjar art camps are designed to allow children to explore their creativity and express themselves freely while creating a unique, fun-filled and memorable experience. This Easter break brings the return of the much-loved camps for children, aged 4 – 10 years which is a one-hour creative activity per day exploring various colours, shapes, textures, mediums and techniques. The children’s Spring Camp will be available for 10 days with three different timeslots per day in order to allow for more flexibility for families during the holidays and ensure social distancing measures. Sessions can be booked per day or for a full week and will include an exploration of a variety of art techniques and mediums on canvas.
