Starting to get that spooky feeling? There is loads going on in Dubai from Halloween brunches and adult-only horror parties to kids’ festivities and spooky family-friendly events. We’ve rounded up some of the best events around Dubai for the kids (and the big kids) this Halloween.

Dia De Los Muertos at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah

No plans yet for this Halloween weekend? Head to The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah and enjoy a multi-day “Dia de los Muertos” parade and festival from 31st October to 2nd November. Inspired by Mexican culture, the event will feature Latin American dancers, Latin music and DJ’s, Marriachi bands, face painting, artistic installations and much more!

Día de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember friends and family members who are no longer with us, and helping support their spiritual journey.

Kids Halloween Brunch at Mason Mathis

Calling all mini witches, wizards, ghouls and goblins! Join in the fun at Maison Mathis’ Haunted Kids Halloween Brunch on Friday 1^st November from 12-4pm. Kids will have a ball at this spooky spectacular which includes face painting, a magician, a balloon artist and a Kids Cinema showing Halloween cartoons.

The QE2 Halloween brunch

Eat, drink and be scary at the QE2 Halloween Brunch – a spooky version of the popular Friday brunch. Devour the deliciously frightening feast that features over 200 dishes and send the little ones to the ‘haunted ghost hall’ – adjacent to the brunch and inclusive in the package. A live band and free-flowing beverages will keep the adults entertained whilst an optional and charged ‘Below the Decks Haunted Tour’ is available for children from 1pm – 4pm.

Fright Nights are back with a bang at MOTIONGATE™ Dubai this Halloween

Get ready to be spooked this Halloween with Fright Nights 2 at MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, the region’s largest indoor Hollywood-inspired theme park, featuring immersive rides and attractions that will transform into a zone of spine-chilling experiences between 24^th October and 9^th November!

Zombieland Halloween Party at Atlantis, The Palm

Atlantis, The Palm is set to throw the biggest Halloween party yet and is inviting partygoers to join the last of the survivors and party like there’s no tomorrow! The Zombieland apocalypse will take place on a custom-built deck on the shores of the Arabian Gulf, with international renowned DJ Chuckie headlining the celebration. David de Luca and local DJs will also be setting the scene for a thrilling evening where partygoers are invited to dress to impress, with prizes being given for the best zombie look. Ladies receive complimentary access before 9pm with early bird tickets starting from AED 100.

Fright night fun for Halloween at TEPfactor!

On the 31^st October you can enjoy 50% off all the Halloween TEPfactor excitement, if you’re dressed in the spooky theme! The whole venue will be decked out in its creepiest Halloween finery with friendly trick-or-treat for the surrounding families in JBR, maxing out the spook factor for the evening. Attempt all 21 challenges and complete all and unlock the final chest, all while competing for the mysterious prize up for grabs. Celebrate Halloween at The Green Planet’s haunted rainforest

From 17^th October to 2^nd November, The Green Planet, a family-friendly indoor tropical rainforest in City Walk, is set to transform into an eerie Halloween haunt, complete with spooky spider webs, animal skeletons, pumpkins galore and a series of “Face Your Fears” animal encounters (at an additional charge), giving guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with slithery snakes, hairy tarantulas, slippery millipedes, scaly lizards and more!

This spooky rainforest will also showcase a range of tomb stones throughout to showcase extinct animal species to an educational peak at animals of past.

When: 17^th October 2019 – 2^nd November 2019. The Reptile and Bug Encounter takes place daily at 12:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm and includes interaction with several animals that could include lizards, geckos, snakes, millipedes, tarantula, beetles and roaches.

Mattel Play! Town promises to delight the little ones this spooky season

 This Halloween Mattel Play! Town will be pulling out all the stops to ensure the kiddos have some spooktacular fun with “A Not so Scary Halloween”, celebrating alongside their favourite characters, including Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder and Barney and Friends.

There will be a Halloween Dance Craze daily at 2.15PM and 3.45PM which will see children rocking out to Its Halloween Night Tonight and Halloween Pumpkins. Additionally, children will be able to get their hands on a Halloween skeleton treasure map, to hunt down the hidden skeletons around the venue.

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, there will also be a Halloween special performance which will take place at 5.15pm, followed by a Halloween costume parade, with the best costume of the day winning a complimentary ticket to Mattel Play!
