Event Details

The Mubadala World Tennis Championship is returning from 16th – 18th December 2022 at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi! The annual Championship, which features eight of the world’s leading tennis stars (six male and two female), has consistently brought world-class entertainment to the UAE since 2009.

The star player line-up has just been announced and we are super excited as British Tennis Pros Emma Radacanu and Cameron Norrie will be making their Championship debuts.

Emma Raducanu is of course the British No.1 female; she is the youngest Grand Slam winner since 2004 and at just 19 years old she has had many career highs! She won the 2021 US Open title, becoming the first Briton to win a women’s Grand Slam singles title since Virginia Wade at the 1977 Wimbledon Championships. And as Brits we will all remember her Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon in 2021, when she became the youngest female British player to progress to the last 16 of a Grand Slam in the Open Era. She also won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award in 2021.

Cameron Norrie is Britain’s No.1 male and this trip will be the Wimbledon semi-finalist first trip to the UAE capital. Norrie has held the top spot in men’s singles in Great Britain since October 2021 and reached a career high No.8 ranking this past summer, joining Greg Rusedski, Tim Henman, and Andy Murray as the only British males in history to break into the world’s top 10.

The other players in the lineup are America’s Francis Tiafoe, who was ranked World No.17 in October after beating MiomirKecmanovic in straight sets on route to the this year’s Rakuten Japan Open. He’ll be joined alongside Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz who is the youngest men’s World No. 1, and his victory at the US Open in September 2022 saw him become the youngest Grand Slam men’s champion since his idol Rafael Nadal at the 2005 French Open.

Don’t miss your chance to interact with the best players in the world during the player appearances, and enjoy the tennis village with family activities, entertainment, prizes and food trucks!

On Friday 16th December, the first match will commence at 4pm, on Saturday 17th December the first match will start at 3pm and on the final day, Sunday 18th December, the first match will start at 1pm. To book tickets, which start at as little as AED 95 per day per adult and AED 45 per day for a child (2-12 years), please click here
