Motherhood is a tough journey to navigate, and the one thing that makes it a lot easier, is having a group of like-minded women to turn to in moments of stress or doubt. If you’re in Dubai this summer you don’t want to miss our coffee mornings! Bring the kids, meet other mums and stay cool over a yummy breakfast!
We’re delighted to be hosting our next coffee morning on Tuesday 23rd August from 9am at Reform in The Lakes. Located in the air conditioned tent, it’s the perfect opportunity to head down and make some friends and of course the kids are welcome too!
We’re delighted to be welcoming British mum and author, Giselle Onanian to the morning’s session to delight us all with a reading from the second book in her series, ‘Can we go and see Nana?’. The Alfie & Oak series of children’s picture books feature Alfie, who sets out, with the help of his dog Oak, to learn about the world around him as he grows up as a third culture kid in a country that isn’t his own. With themes of belonging, relationships, diversity and multiculturalism, Alfie’s life is explored through a three-part series, telling the adventurous tales of a curious young expat boy and his dog Oak.
Mums are welcome to order hot drinks and breakfast off the regular menu with a special 15% discount, exclusively for British Mums attending. If you’d like to attend, please just comment on the Facebook post to let us know you are coming! X
