Disneyland® Paris is one of the magical locations many of us British Mums grew up with. Now as we have children of our own, we get to share the magic all over again with our little ones. If you’re thinking of travelling to Europe this summer, why not take a detour to Disneyland Paris? You won’t regret it.

Celebrating 30 years, Disneyland Paris has a whole host of celebratory events and details that are sure to make your experience even more magical. Especially with the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions, now seems the right time to take advantage of the opportunity of being able to travel and make some truly magical memories.

Disneyland Paris has two magical Disney® Parks with diverse universes for the all family to have fun Disneyland Park has Sleeping Beauty’s castle at the heart of the park, it’s filled with wonder and excitement from the moment you walk in. Experience meetings with your favourite characters, marvel at the live shows and parades, and seek thrill from all the amazing rides Disneyland has to offer.

Frontierland sets you in the Wild West and leaves you thrilled as you ride on Big Thunder Mountain, a runaway mine train, and also encounter Phantom Manor.

Enter a fairy tale in Fantasyland and live all your princess’s dreams by riding on magical Mad Hatter’s Teacups or heading off on Peter Pan’s Flight. Treat your little princess (or yourself!) to your very own princess dress and even meet the Disney princesses and Mickey Mouse and friends!

Adventureland is a swashbuckling adventure from the start. Immerse yourself in a land of discovery and pirates and enjoy the thrilling rides from Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones, the experiences leave you feeling as if you have been in the movie!

The second park, Walt Disney Studios Park, will also not disappoint you as you’re not watching movies, you’re living them!

The Pixar zone is set to amaze if you or your little ones love any of the Disney Pixar movies, it features all the favourites from Toy Story to Finding Nemo. The Crush’s Coaster is ‘turtley’ recommended!

Then, let’s be transported to a little more of Disneyland Paris at the Ratatouille land. Jump in the Ratatouille: The Adventure attraction, when you will shrink down to the size of Remy and duck, dive, dodge, and scurry to safety in a dazzling chase across a gigantic kitchen

Besides the rides and different lands available to you, Disney Village® offers the perfect place to dine, shop, and play! The official merchandise can be purchased in a number of the many shops available, so make sure you have your Mastercard loaded, the treats are not just for the kids but the adults too.

Eating at Disney Village is easy too, there is something for everyone! Everything from Tex-Mex all-you-can-eat dining, to steak houses to even a Mickey Mouse-inspired Italian restaurant. No matter how fussy the eaters, the experience within all the restaurants and cafes is truly magical. Catering for all diets and budgets, eating out at Disneyland Paris is easy and makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Want to have the full Disneyland Paris experience? Why not stay in on the many themed Disney® Hotels ! From the moment you wake up, you’re immersed in the magic and can enjoy living at Disney. The Disney hotels based in the park offers free parking and are easily accessible, so you don’t get to miss any of the fun!

Themed hotel rooms include the newly opened Marvel-inspired hotel, a Wild West theme hotel Cheyenne featuring Woody and Jessie, The Santa Fe hotel showcasing the popular Lightning McQueen, and a forest-themed hotel with subtle Bambi references along with many many more. There are plenty more hotel choices to choose from, and booking is easy too on the Disneyland website.

To help make your stay much easier, it’s always best to download the Disneyland Paris app beforehand so you can manage everything from early check-ins to Magic Passes. Magic Passes are your golden ticket to the park and can load your hotel key, and park passes and gives access to pools and even parking.

Our tip for booking the perfect Disney trip is to book the complete package that includes hotel and park passes, and adding meal plans onto the package means you won’t have to worry so you can fully enjoy your magical Disney experience.

Until summer 2023 Disneyland Paris is celebrating its 30thbirthday so there will be additional magical experiences for the whole family to enjoy, everything from Disney-inspired Drone shows to magical live performances all designed to help us all ‘Dream… and Shine Brighter.’
