DESCRIPTION:

Kings' Education is seeking an individual to support the varied daily activities of the marketing function for its three British curriculum schools, to help drive forward new student enrolments. The ideal candidate will be a marketing all-rounder with experience working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment and enjoy making a positive first impression with staff and prospective parents alike.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:

Marketing:

  • Monitoring and managing multiple social media accounts

  • Planning, coordinating and helping set up events (e.g. trade shows, open days), working closely with other departments and third party contractors where required.

  • Producing marketing collateral for events and admissions teams, directing layout, design and copywriting with partners and contractors where required.

  • Coordinating and overseeing photo/video shoots.

  • Website updates, for which WordPress skills would be an advantage, and a willingness to learn basic coding

Design:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and iMovie to assist the team in producing more promotional material in-house

Business Development:

  • Contribute to and develop the privileges package for Kings’ staff which will be shared via the regular staff HR newsletter.

  • Supporting with the relationship management of our partners.

  • Supporting parent relations with events and promotions across the group

General administration duties:

  • Working with procurement to oversee invoicing and payments for contractors

  • Providing support to the admissions team as required to follow up on enrolment leads

  • Generating post-event feedback and reports where required

Requirements:

  • Marketing experience is preferred, not essential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Native English speaker

  • A positive attitude and ability to work with all levels of staff in school as well as external contractors

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with good attention to detail

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to follow up on projects and meet deadlines

  • Proactive with initiative, and an ability to work both in a team environment and independently

  • Reliable and resourceful

General: 

  • To quality assure all areas of service delivery within role scope to ensure an outstanding level of service and to role model the aims and values of Kings’.

  • To be visible and accessible to school leadership teams for any issues or feedback.

  • Work to hours agreed with the Manager.  It is understood that these may vary according to school events and requirements at various times in the year.

  • Seeking a fast learner, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment, and the ability to pick up new skills as the role requires.
