Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional person to join our outstanding Library team.

If you have a passion for reading, children’s books and inquiry learning, then this may be the role for you. By being ambitious, not only for students but for yourself, you will help us build and maintain a successful programme of reading across the Primary phase of the school. Led by our Head Librarian, you will share in the responsibility for teaching, learning, enrichment and pastoral care, as the role of the Librarian and reading sits at the heart of our school. The successful candidate will also be expected to make a contribution to our unique and strong enrichment programme, which ensures that learning and opportunity arediverse for all.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a relevant degree or qualification and ideally hold ateaching qualification
Have experience in a school or library setting whether that be in the UK or in an international setting
Have exceptional communication and organizational skills
Be comfortable and competent in the use of IT software i.e.Microsoft Office
Be committed to the Hartland Values which can be found on our website
