Candle-Making Workshop at Joga in Celebration of International Women’s Day

We recently hosted a special event in celebration of International Women’s Day in partnership with Joga and MJM Home Fragrance.

Held at Joga, Dubai Internet City, guests enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast before taking part in a beautiful candle-making workshop led by MJM Home Fragrance. It was a morning filled with creativity, connection, and celebration.

Mums not only indulged in a wonderful breakfast but also crafted their own handmade 40-hour candle to take home—a perfect keepsake from the event. To make the day even more special, one lucky mum won a stunning bouquet of flowers from Bloomingbox, worth AED 285!

Mark your calendar for Wednesday 14th May from 9am–11am at StepUp Academy & My Private Gym , Motor City – because we’ve got a feel-good, energising, and seriously fun experience lined up for you.

Whether you’re a total dance floor queen or just curious to try something new, this month’s workout is designed to get your body moving and your endorphins soaring. There’s three sessions that run for 30 minutes each, and you can join one, two, or all three – it’s totally up to you! Here’s what’s in store:

Commercial Dance

Kick things off with a high-energy dance class that mixes hip-hop, jazz, and street styles. It’s upbeat, full of confidence-boosting moves, and totally beginner-friendly. Think fun routines, big smiles, and feel-good vibes – no experience needed!

Lyrical Dance

Then, it’s time to slow things down with a Lyrical session which blends contemporary and ballet-inspired movement for a graceful, expressive flow. It’s a beautiful way to stretch, strengthen, and connect with yourself.

My Private Gym

Finish strong in the gym with a 30-minute group workout led by a personal trainer. Expect functional exercises and circuits tailored to all levels – designed to leave you feeling powerful and recharged.
