We love partnering with Stokke to hold fab and informative breakfasts for our mums, and this one had the added bonus of the very lovely and knowledgeable Principal Lisa! Our mums met at Jones The Grocer, Al Manara where they were treated to a scrumptious breakfast courtesy of Stokke, heard all about baby-weaning from Principal Lisa and then got to test out Stokke’s range of fabulous products! Mark your calendar for Wednesday 14th May from 9am–11am at StepUp Academy & My Private Gym , Motor City – because we’ve got a feel-good, energising, and seriously fun experience lined up for you.

Whether you’re a total dance floor queen or just curious to try something new, this month’s workout is designed to get your body moving and your endorphins soaring. There’s three sessions that run for 30 minutes each, and you can join one, two, or all three – it’s totally up to you! Here’s what’s in store:

Commercial Dance

Kick things off with a high-energy dance class that mixes hip-hop, jazz, and street styles. It’s upbeat, full of confidence-boosting moves, and totally beginner-friendly. Think fun routines, big smiles, and feel-good vibes – no experience needed!

Lyrical Dance

Then, it’s time to slow things down with a Lyrical session which blends contemporary and ballet-inspired movement for a graceful, expressive flow. It’s a beautiful way to stretch, strengthen, and connect with yourself.

My Private Gym

Finish strong in the gym with a 30-minute group workout led by a personal trainer. Expect functional exercises and circuits tailored to all levels – designed to leave you feeling powerful and recharged.

Join us on Tuesday 20th May at Ula, Dukes The Palm, for a morning all about skin health and care. We’ll be diving into everything you need to know—from how to protect your skin, to choosing the right products, understanding different skin types, and the best ways to care for them.

We’re delighted to be joined by British mums favourite in skin care, Dermalogica who’ll be showing us the best products to look after our skin. Fern & Flair Beauty Salon will be offering mums mini massages and manis, whilst Salon Script will be treating mums to an up-do or some beautiful waves. Skinscooba are also attending to showcase their range of teen and pre-teen products.

Most of us love a bit of sunshine, especially living in the UAE where the sun’s out all year round. But with all that sun exposure comes a real need to look after our skin. Skin cancer is one of the most preventable types of cancer, yet it often gets overlooked—especially in sunny regions.
