Earlier this month we hosted a Beauty Breakfast for the community at 42 Midtown. It was a great chance to come together for a bit of a treat, with free hairstyling, nails, beauty tips and goody bags!

Dermalogica was on hand to talk skin and their amazing products, Dr Ahsan explained the benefits of IV Nutrition, Villa 8 did an incredible job of pampering us with hair styling, manicures and mini massages, Gemma from Cazimi Tan talked the convenience of spray tans and the wonderful Vicki Ashlin from The Big Beauty Scoop treated us to a make-up demo, with tips, tricks and her fave products!

Thank you to all our partners, all the mums who joined us, KJ Serums for the raffle prizes, and also a huge thank you to Beauty Solutions for the amazing goody bags – what a treat!

From Friday 18th – Sunday 20th April, the region’s largest pop culture festival, Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) is heading to the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Fans of all ages can expect an action-packed weekend filled with cosplay, gaming, celebrity appearances, live entertainment and unique activations – a must for all movie buffs and comic fans!

Get your geek on with 3 days of thrilling action, from 3pm – 11pm on Friday and 12noon – 11pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are AED 150 on Friday and Sunday, and AED 185 on the Saturday, or you can get a three-day pass for AED 395. Kids 6 and under get in free, whilst children aged 7-11 can get tickets for AED 50 on the door.

There are tons of celebs in attendance but we’re most excited to see the one and only Andrew Garfield – the Amazing Spiderman. If you’re a fan of cosplay then suit up like Deadpool or Sailor Moon and unleash your inner hero, meet professional cosplayers and take part on the Cosplay competition. Shop Artist Alley and take home hand-crafted artworks, drawings and memorabilia or head to Festival Plaza which is packed food trucks, dance-offs and live performances. There’s also a Gaming Arena which is home to video games, tournaments and challenges, plus there’s outdoor games, inflatables, and face painting at the Kids Zone and a chill out area at Bookworm Lounge.

Celebrate spring in full bloom at the Harvest Festival – Spring Edition! On Saturday 19th April from 11am – 8pm, bring the whole family (and your furry friends) for a fun-filled day in the Al Wasl Plaza.

Your entry ticket includes access to all the day’s events and activities including The Ultimate Egg Hunt which will see over 2,000 colourful eggs scattered across the plaza and 10 of them have big surprises inside like staycations, chocolate hampers and tickets to Carols by Candlelight and Festival of Cake 2025!

There’s also creative workshops, family fun competitions with exciting prizes, as well as live music and vibrant entertainment all day long.

You’ll find a great selection of food and drinks on the day, with a fully licensed area for grown-up refreshments!

This one-day-only event is inclusive and engaging and is designed to create a memorable day out for families and the wider community. Tickets are AED 25 per person 4+ years and can be purchased at the entry gate. People of determination and one caregiver can attend this event for free.
