The stage is set – and it’s the perfect time of year to enjoy an indulgent dinner under the cool, starlit sky at Desert Palm Dubai,  who are bringing the world’s best ballet to the great outdoors for a spellbinding performance that shouldn’t be missed.

Ballet Under The Stars is back for the second year running and just like before, it’s going to be a night to remember as one of the world’s most iconic prima ballerinas, the Italian former Principal of The Royal Ballet, Mara Galeazzi will headline the performance.

This spectacular evening will be hosted on Desert Palm’s  lush, green polo lawns on the 15th and 16th of February 2018 where dance fans especially, will be delighted to hear that The Covent Garden Dance Company, (who always feature Principals and Soloists from the world’s most renowned companies), are bringing The Royal Danish Ballet’s Principal dancer, Gregory Dean to join Ms Galeazzi on stage. Together they’ll be performing a mesmerising range of works from the classical you’ll know and love to some stunning contemporary pieces (and much more in between).

We first heard about Desert Palm when it was described by GQ as “luxury without the loudness.” We can’t but help agree; It’s a discreetly luxurious retreat, (undoubtedly being one of Dubai’s best-kept secrets – ssssssssshhhh), and if you haven’t been already, get those heels on, as this event will ease you in nicely! In fact, we’d go as far as to say that you’re unlikely to see this kind of star-studded lineup anywhere else in the world, especially with such an intimate setting – it’s just pure class!

Not only is Ballet Under The Stars going to be a night packed to the brim of brilliant ballet, but it has everything that Desert Palm is known for; it’s beautiful setting, Dubai-renowned service, bubbles that are somewhat of a Dubai institution and of course… the food!

The spectacular dinner of Ballet Under The Stars will be hosted in a 300-seater theatre that is held under a giant canopy on the lush grounds of Desert Palm’s hotel overlooking the championship polo fields. Guests at Ballet Under The Stars (LINK) will be watching the performances between the courses of the gourmet dinner and the ballet will be carried out over three 25-minute intervals between each course so there’s plenty of time to chat in between and watch the short world class works that are performed.

The food, of course, is tipped to be as amazing as ever. All-inclusive dinner tickets start from AED 750 for Gold seating, which includes an unbeatable reception, a three-course dinner, and a half bottle of grape per person. Tickets are also on sale at AED850 for the Platinum seating, and the ultimate, Premium Seating is on offer at AED1,000 per person gives you unparalleled views. The dress code for this event is naturally elegant at Desert Palm and tickets for 15th and 16th February can be bought through Platinum List HERE or you can email
