If you haven’t been to the theatre in a while, there’s a great new family musical adaptation of Aladdin that’s being shown at the Madinat Theatre at Souk Madinat this half term and it’s bound to delight your brood whatever their age!

The show features the classic story of the original Prince of Poor, Aladdin as he meets the Genie, seeks out the hand of the gorgeous Princess Jasmine and fights off evil Jaffar who also wants to marry Princess Jasmine.

This isn’t just an ordinary show; not only does it feature all the highlights we’d expect from Aladdin like the smouldering lamp and the towering genie, but it’s also cleverly weaved in some brilliant circus acts (including a roller skater who juggles simultaneously leaving the audience in jaw-dropping disbelief!)

It’s a great family show that’s full of the feel good factor you’d expect with a trip to the theatre, and you’re going to find yourself toe-tapping too with some belters of modern songs that the children will know and love (think “You Don’t Know You’re Beautiful” and “Shut Up And Dance With Me!”)

The show last 1 hours and 20 minutes long, (there’s no interval) and ticket prices start from AED180 up to AED230 for Gold tickets. It’s on from now until 19th February and performances are at 11:00, 15:00 and 19:00 to suit all ages from 2 years to Grannies and Grandad’s too!
